I started writing reviews for The Nameless Zine in 2014, with my first movie reviews posted in June and my first book reviews posted in July. I'm enjoying this and am almost at 300 reviews.
It's a enjoyable site, run by the WesternSFA, but there's no way to see what any reviewer has written. I like to keep track of my reviews, so here's an index page to list all that I've written for the Nameless Zine.

The Book Nook is the main part of the Nameless Zine, where current genre books are reviewed. The majority of these were supplied to me to review, but a few are books I bought myself. A B C D E F G H J K L M N P R S T U W A

Voices from the Past is where older genre books are reviewed, generally those older than twenty years. I hope to review more Victorian adventure novels here and, as of November 2015, I'm working through the Doc Savage series in order, one book a month.

Reel Talk isn't for books at all; it's for reviews of mostly genre related films that are newly released. As these are predominantly mainstream, I wouldn't cover them at Apocalypse Later, though I have reviewed some as part of Monday Night Roundups at Apocalypse Later Now! The Nameless Zine therefore became a place for me to talk trash (or not) about mainstream movies I saw, mostly at the drive-in.
20 Feet Below: The Darkness Descending (2014) |
My better half also writes for the Nameless Zine, so I thought I'd index her writing here too. |

My eldest son also now writes for the Nameless Zine, so hey, what the heck, here's his writing indexed as well for good measure. |
Alexander Freed - Star Wars Battlefront: Twilight Company (Jan 2016) |
