Most of the rest of the lists that I've archived to work through have quality as their primary marker for inclusion. This one emphatically doesn't. Many of the titles included here are frankly awful but they're entertaining and that's what Jim Vorel at Paste Magazine was going for. That's why Plan 9 from Outer Space is here but Manos: The Hands of Fate isn't.
It's a wildly varied list and it's a great starting point not only to watch bad (well, mostly bad) movies but also for grindhouse film nerds to argue about. I could throw out a hundred arguments to kick those drunken evenings off right but I still have a grudging admiration for the sheer reach of this one.
By the way, #61 is not a movie, it's a television show but other than that, it's more than worthy to be in this list. Also, there are two #86s because Vorel couldn't choose between which version of The Blob to go with.
