by Gabriel Lee
The hand it knows no gentle touch
To take me from this brutal crux -
Caught between a love so pure
And loss of you forevermore.
The hand it must now hold me down
Lest in my love I'll surely drown.
I swim now for a unity,
As sand to sea - now you to me.
The hand erects a sandcastle,
A monument to love so full.
The sea it spares this build so frail
To see if love may yet prevail.
