Oh please don't scream and run from me
For I am not quite what you see.
Watch how I metamorphosize
From bat to man before your eyes.
See how each fang slides from beneath
Each tiny, glistening, hungry sheath.
Now just relax, this will not hurt,
You'll make a bloody good dessert.
I only want a little bite,
Enough to quench my appetite.
I plant a kiss, a little peck,
Upon your soft delicious neck,
Then sip sweet nectar from your nape
And wipe my mouth off on my cape.
Please pardon me, I'm such a beast
To eat and run from such a feast,
But I'm a creature of the night,
My skin will shrivel in the light.
So I must say adieu and fly
Before the sun lights up the sky.
Besides I'm tired; I want to sleep
Beneath my cozy coffin sheet
With the one thing for which I care:
My Transylvanian teddy bear.
