In the twilight of the night
As you fall from earthly being
I will lay there beside you
Softly letting you fondle me.
You touch with your hands
And spell me with your touch -
Now you can do all the things
You have wanted to do so much,
Perhaps you will brush away a tear
That now slowly is falling.
No it's not a display of pain -
I feel so much pleasure;
It's only my happiness showing.
We will not say a word -
Deadly silence reverberates
And echoes in our ears...
Our minds have driven away
All our childish fears -
We will lie there entwined,
Souls bared nothing to hide
But then something stirs you.
You know this is a dream,
You do not want to leave
Lest I not return again.
Do not fear so much -
All you need to do
Is close your eyes and rest
Just like I do
When I dream
My twilight dream of you...
